Once in a marble workshop i heard people complaining about the marble dust- saying they hated etc. A sculptor came in and said he would love to have a spoonful of it every morning for breakfast ;-)

Was he Phidias by chance?.
Well. In honour to the truth, there is a difference between swallowing marble dust and breathing it, because in the second case you get silicosis

It was someone less glamorous than Phidias, not less prolific though ;-)
Some of his works here- don't you just love the internet?

Oscar,

The three separate sets of wings in your drawings of 04, 05 and 06DEC10 are tremendous. Each day they improved. The crow/eagle on 06DEC10 is stupendous and elevates the entire drawing.
